DAY 2

TUESDAY, JULY 5

Hello family, friends and prayer warriors!

Honestly, all we can say is wow. Puh-raaaaise the LORD! Today went by a lot more smoothly than yesterday and we just want to say THANK YOU for all your prayers!!

This morning during our devotion we were reminded of the times when God has really come through for us in our times of need. After worrying about our classes yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised to see the changes in our students today. The Angel Class students were more obedient today and all the quiet classes became more responsive and seemed to enjoy class more. Our class time was also managed better. Once again, God has answered our prayers with more than we could have imagined.

The kids sang so loud today and it's only Day 2!!

This was our first family visitation! It was a family of three, with all the students in different classes.

 

We played Rummikub with them!

And their mom is so talented. She gave us homemade bread, homemade jam, homemade lemonade, homemade cute egg pancake things, and even homemade soap!!! Ugh so cute.

It's only been two days but it feels like we've been here for much longer. Please continue to pray for health, energy, and a fruitful time during class and family visitations. Please also pray that we would be efficient with our lesson planning time.
